One
essential piece that need to be completed for a popular magazine like ENGINEERING
is it's Editorial Programme which gives details of all the forthcoming year's
features and articles. I had to design a programme that would be clear, informative
and also interesting to look at. I decided upon the arrow image(bottom left)
for the front cover as it is a globe of arrows illustrating both Engineering's
international reputation and the 'Forward Thinking' slogan which accompanied
the job. The descriptive words which had to be included in the image were made
to flow over and around the arrows showing the every moving nature of the Engineering
industry.
